2015 Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2015 Czech Republic motorcycle Grand Prix was the eleventh round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Masaryk Circuit in Brno on 16 August 2015.
In the premier class, Jorge Lorenzo took his second pole position of the season and ultimately his fifth win of the season, ahead from Marc Márquez and Valentino Rossi. Fifth place was battled between Andrea Dovizioso and Dani Pedrosa, who was start from eight on the grid; despite riding with his injured, with Pedrosa eventually prevailing ahead of Dovizioso. Both Gresini Racing riders were achieved the double champioship points of this event — the first Aprilia double point of the season; with Álvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl finished in 13th and 14th place. Cal Crutchlow, Maverick Viñales, Alex de Angelis, and Eugene Laverty all crashed out of the race before the halfway mark. With this results, Lorenzo leads the championship standings equalling Rossi's point; 211 point — 52 ahead from Márquez. Lorenzo also equalling Casey Stoner records; most 38 wins in the premier class.
